Interaction Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a Construction organisation based on the outskirts of Nottingham and assisting them with the recruitment of an Accounts Manager/Bookkeeper who will manage the company accounts whilst liaising with an external accounting body.
To be suitable for this position you will have experience of performing full accounting duties on a sole basis for an SME organisation, dealing with all aspects ranging from transactional ledger processing duties, CIS payments, Payroll, Bank Reconciliations, VAT and assisting with Audits. You will liaise with the company director on a daily basis as well as external accountants when needed and so good communication skills will be required.
If you do have construction experience previously then this would be an advantage however other backgrounds will also be considered. What is important is that you can perform financial duties to strict deadlines autonomously, have strong time management skills and be seeking a long-term permanent opportunity. This organisation use Xero as an accounting system so experience with this package will also be an advantage.
