If so, this exciting new position supporting the work of our Global Learners Programme may be of interest to you.

The Global Learners Programme is an educational opportunity for overseas healthcare workers who would like to spend three years working in the NHS. Working within the Global Learners Programme team the post holder will have a varied role within with an opportunity to learn about global health and how this fits with the NHS.

The programme has an important national remit and the team work closely with NHS Trusts, overseas partner organisations, HEE teams, the NMC and GMC and Royal Colleges to name a few.

The job description offers greater detail about the role, but we are seeking a person who has excellent finance and communication skills, both verbal and written. A good knowledge of NHS finance systems and Microsoft Office is also required. Working with internal and external stakeholders, the role requires a high level of commitment with effective time management skills and experience of working to tight deadlines.

Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 4 with a full-time starting salary of £21,089, with a pay step increase after 3 years’ service to £24,157.

These salaries are offered in accordance with NHS Terms and Conditions and the HEE Pay Progression Policy and are subject to annual cost of living review.
