This position will lead and take accountability for managing the Global Delist strategy and Global markdown assortment within the Merchandise Operations department of Global Planning.
They will lead by example, acting as an ambassador for Burberry, fostering a culture of simplification, innovation and collaboration and driving excellence.
They will be accountable for :Creating and maintaining the Global Delist files, with responsibility for ensuring adherence to communicated product lifecycle strategies and exit routesLeading the seasonal Markdown assortment reviews to create a globally aligned markdown listMaintenance and Consolidation of the Global Rolling OTB, and responsible for setting Monthly Global OTB reviewsManaging the Option Assortment and Option Planning assistant
Global DelistResponsible for maintaining the Global Delist files which provides an accurate view of product lifecycle for all mainline products and their exit routesEnsuring adherence by product divisions to communicated seasonal product lifecyclesHighlighting issues related to stockpiling of inventory designated for Staff salePublishing quarterly delist files to assist regions with existing end-of-life products from mainline storesMonitoring adherence to delist timings through issuance of Delisted store stock reports
Markdown AssortmentAccountable for driving the seasonal markdown review process including setting the appropriate calendar to ensure early visibility of potential risks to businessWorking with central and regional teams to agree global markdown assortment with the aim to maximize clearing of inventory whilst balancing the need to protect full price sales and brandConsolidating regional markdown forecasts and working to highlight and minimize markdown revenue risks
Global Rolling Open to Buy and Corporate Open to BuyManaging the provision of tools / templates and historical data, on a consistent basis for all regions and divisions to plan fromConsolidation of the Rolling Fiscal Open to Buy and Corporate OTB into global viewResponsible for providing analysis to review Open to Buy’s succinctlyAssisting the Merchandising Planning Operations Director on highlighting risk and opportunity within the Global Rolling OTB across Mainline, Digital and Outlet as well as meeting preparation
