Hampshire Registration Service is an innovative and forward-thinking organisation, currently delivering in excess of 6,000 birth registrations, 9,000 death registrations, 10,500 notices of marriage / civil partnership and 5,500 ceremonies each year.
You will be committed to delivering a high profile, front line, customer focused service. You will line manage a team of Registration Officers and support staff in multiple locations across the North of the region.
The day to day work of the team involves the registration of births, deaths, notices of marriage / civil partnership and the provision of statutory and non-
statutory ceremonies. Registration Technical Training is available to equip you with the appropriate knowledge. You will be responsible for leading and maintaining the high standards in relation to these areas.
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills and a can do’ attitude are essential for this exciting role
Job Purpose :
Managing a team of approximately 10-15 Registration Officers and support staff across a geographically spread area.
